Webcam Sites Compared for Models: Payouts, Schedules and Fit
Cam sites differ in how viewers pay, how much of each sale reaches you, how often you are paid and what privacy controls you get. This comparison lays out the mechanics so you can choose by fit, not by headline percentage.

"Which cam site pays the most?" is the wrong first question. A higher percentage on a site where your audience does not spend can earn less than a lower percentage where it does. Choose by four things: how viewers pay, what share reaches you, how often you are paid, and which privacy tools you get.
Payout rates and policies change, and several sites do not publish one fixed rate. The table reflects platform help pages and widely reported terms as of October 2026. Treat ranges as indications and confirm current terms with each platform before you register.
At a glance
| Site | How viewers pay | What reaches the model | Payout rhythm | Reported minimum |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chaturbate | Tokens: public tips, private and spy shows | $0.05 per token | Twice a month (1st–15th, 16th–end); daily payouts available to eligible broadcasters for a fee | $50 |
| Stripchat | Tokens: tips, private, group and spy shows | $0.05 per token | Weekly (Tuesday), wire transfers less often | $50 to $500 depending on method |
| LiveJasmin | Credits per minute, mainly private shows | Tiered percentage, commonly reported from about 30% upwards with performance | Regular payout periods set by the platform | Varies by method |
| BongaCams | Tokens: tips and private shows | Commonly reported around 50% to 60%, higher at top levels | Regular payout periods | Varies by method |
| MyFreeCams | Tokens: tips and private shows | Commonly reported around 50% to 60% | Regular payout periods | Varies by method |
| Streamate | Per-minute private shows | Commonly reported percentage of private-show revenue | Regular payout periods | Varies by method |
A token value of $0.05 means 1,000 tokens equal $50 before any payout fees or management share.
The two business models behind the table
Tip-based, public-first sites (Chaturbate, Stripchat, BongaCams, MyFreeCams) let viewers watch for free and tip. Income grows with room energy, tip menus, interactive toys and regulars. They suit outgoing performers who enjoy a busy chat.
Private-show-first sites (LiveJasmin, Streamate) earn mainly when a viewer pays per minute for a private session. They reward conversation, a polished setup and consistent hours. They suit performers who prefer one-to-one interaction over a crowd.
Many models use one of each type, which is also why multistreaming tools exist. Our multi-platform strategy guide explains how to plan that without spreading yourself thin.
Questions to ask before registering
- Where is my likely audience? Some sites are strongest in North America, others in Europe. Peak hours differ by site and time zone.
- What does the site let me block? Most major sites let you block countries or regions. Check exactly how the block works; our geo-blocking guide covers the limits.
- What content and conduct rules apply? Rules on nudity levels, toys, outdoor streaming and co-performers differ by site. Every co-performer must be verified on the platform before appearing on camera.
- How are payouts sent, and what do they cost? Compare payout methods, fees and minimums for your country.
- Can I work as an independent model, through a studio, or both? Account ownership and who receives payouts depend on each platform's rules for models and studios.
Worked example: a token month
Suppose a model earns 30,000 tokens on a token site in a month:
- 30,000 × $0.05 = $1,500 before payout fees.
- If the model works with a manager on a 50% share of net revenue after agreed deductions, each side's share depends on exactly what is deducted first.
Always ask for this calculation in writing before you sign anything. Our payments guide and agreement overview show how we set out deductions, reconciliation and invoicing.
Mistakes new models make when choosing a site
- Choosing by the highest advertised percentage without checking audience fit.
- Registering on six sites at once, then streaming to empty rooms everywhere.
- Ignoring payout minimums and fees, which matter for smaller early earnings.
- Skipping the privacy settings before the first show.
- Not reading the rules on promoting other sites. Mentioning an OnlyFans link may be restricted on some cam sites.
